We had to earn our place — years of disciplined winemaking, a track record we were proud to have scrutinized, and a shared belief that the vineyard’s reputation is as important as the wine itself.
We’re a Bordeaux house, but our ethos has always been about the site.
Bien Nacido was a site we knew had to be part of our story.

The result?
2023 LXV Syrah Reserve — Bien Nacido Vineyard → 99 points from Jeb Dunnuck, one of the most precise and respected voices in the wine world:

We didn’t choose this site or this wine to chase a score — we chose it to give full expression to a vineyard of rare significance.

Trust from the Miller Family Wine Company and vineyard manager Erin Ghigleri — built through visits, conversations, and even working through differences.
Craftsmanship from winemaker Jeffrey Strekas and advisor Frederick Ammons to let the vineyard speak.
