And for the sweet finish, chocolates by Sheila Kearns in olallieberry, cherry, strawberry, and Moët & Chandon Champagne.
Aphrodite would be jealous!
Hand Crafted Wines for our
“Passion Play” Valentine’s Day Gift Box
We introduce our 2021 Cabernet Franc Rose wine. Direct pressed and aged in neutral barrels, this wine shows off whiffs of watermelon, strawberry, raspberry, and vanilla.
Also included in the Valentine’s Day Gift Box is a Bordeaux blend, 2019 LXV Secret with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. Violets first, then the fruit. On the palate, cassis and pomegranate with a streak of dark fruit, and a spicy, savory herbal note that pulls the wine forward.
Romantic food and wine pairings
The Rose is paired with a blend of sugar, jalapeno, and saffron. A menage-a-trois of flavors and possibilities!
Recipe: PERFUMED GARDEN: LAMB CHOPS WITH LXV 2019 THE SECRET
The Bordeaux blend is paired with a bright blend of hibiscus, lavender, coriander, Persian lime, and black garlic. Both the spices come with simple-yet-luscious recipes to frame the evening!
A Kiss of Chocolate – “Passion Play” Valentine’s Day Gift Box
And to finish, chocolates from Sheila Kearns, our local chocolatier, in olallieberry, cherry, strawberry and Moët & Chandon Champagne
