Tasting Notes
100% Syrah Clone 470 from Armaa.N Vineyard, Willow Creek District. The first Syrah made from our estate vineyard — shows both Armaa.N's potential for power and delicacy. Clone 470 is the most widely planted in Hermitage.

Color:Deep inky purple

Nose:Dark chocolate covered Bing cherries. Dark cacao, fresh raspberry, vanilla, cassia, and white chocolate. Spice box, dark fruit, caramel.

Palate:Weighty and broad without being plodding. Layered, rich texture with a long, lingering finish. Fresh Damson plums and olallieberries. Subtle oak contributing structure even as the last of the wine evaporates. Clone 470 — late-ripening, aromatic, deep colored, and full-bodied. The first Syrah made from Armaa.N Vineyard.
