100% Bien Nacido Vineyard, Santa Maria Valley AVA. 192 cases. A cool-climate Syrah of extraordinary depth — roast suckling pig in Barcelona, peppered Jamón Ibérico in Lisbon, a smoldering campfire after a long night telling stories with friends.

Color:Deep ruby with violet hue

Nose:Peak savoriness. Fresh ground Tellicherry black peppercorns over Santa Maria BBQ. The perfect combination of peppery spice and fragrant violets. Cool climate Syrah trending towards California Syrah. Backed by plum, persimmon, and blackberry.

Palate:Long pepper, clove, and crème brûlée hints show as the wine settles. Lots of body for this coastal vineyard — the mid-palate and tannins will hold up to any food pairing. Both acidic and broad simultaneously — a flavorful contradiction!
