Ingredients

  • 2 cups Macaroni (cooked)
  • 1/4 lb each of Three Cheeses: Cheddar, Fontina, Gruyere
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • LXV Touch: A few strands of saffron

Method

  1. Soak Saffron in 2 tbsp of warmed cream
  2. Melt the cheeses in a heavy bottom pan, on a very low flame
  3. When the cheeses get "gooey", add all the cream including the saffron cream
  4. Simmer
  5. Add the Umami packet
  6. Add the Macaroni to the cream/cheese sauce and transfer to a shallow baking dish
  7. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs and bake for around 20 mins or a beautiful brown crust
  8. Serve with a glass of LXV The Spell.
  9. Vegan Option
  10. You can use Vegan cheese options and water instead of cream
  11. Umami Hummus
  12. When making hummus from scratch, use Umami instead of the salt for the salt normally used to season the hummus. The result is a savory treat with
  13. a slight kick of the Black Truffle Salt.
  14. Roasted Potatoes.
  15. Cut your potatoes into 1 inch cubes and toss them in Olive oil and Umami. Bake them at 375F for 30 to 35 minutes, turning once.
