Color:Deep ruby with violet hue
Nose:An inviting and unmistakably old-world aromatic — warm tobacco and forest floor. Generous on the palate with round, rich tannins. Notes of dark fruit, quite masculine, bold presence.
Palate:Evolution on the palate reveals more layered aromatics — hints of violet and strawberry — with a medium-grained tannin that, coupled with acidity, keeps the wine lively and engaging. Rich entry with notes of sous bois; texture and tempo develop later in evolution. A gregarious wine — playful, jocular, still grounded in tradition and pedigree. Certain austerity at finish with larger, more woody tannin structure. Retro-nasal dried herbal notes.
