Tasting Notes
100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Gateway Vineyard, Willow Creek District. Clone 43 block — consistent flavor intensity and incredibly manageable tannins year in and year out. Fermented on skins 19 days, pressed to French oak. Soil: decomposed limestone mixed with beach sand. pH 3.65, 6.7 g/L TA.

Color:Deep ruby red with hints of garnet, displaying regal elegance.

Nose:Aromas of black currants, dark cherries, cedar, tobacco, and subtle floral nuances.

Palate:Refined and silky. Layers of blackberry, cassis, gripping tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, lingering finish.

Appellation:100% Cabernet Sauvignon, Clone 43, from Gateway Vineyard, Willow Creek — decomposed limestone and beach sand, 80% new oak. Up to 95 pts.
