Maison Mittal Tasting – Kurt & Michelle Goll, Austin

An Evening of Terroir, Toasts, and Thoughtful Sips

At the home of Kurt & Michelle

There are evenings that feel less like events and more like quiet inflection points—moments that, without trying too hard, remind you why we do what we do.

This was one of those evenings.

At Kurt and Michelle’s beautiful home—filled with warmth, charcuterie, and a Champagne toast to a friend’s new chapter—we gathered to explore four Bordeaux-inspired wines, each with its own story.

Armaa.N Estate | Cabernet Sauvignon–Cabernet Franc

Fresh and minerality driven, this wine entered gently but with quiet confidence. Grown on our organically farmed estate, it’s centered and poised—“friendly but not revealing its whole story,” as our winemaker Frederick Ammons puts it.

G2 North | Cabernet Franc–Cabernet Sauvignon

Subtle at first, this wine unfolded into something noble and structured. Focused, shapely, and grounded—many of you found yourselves circling back to this one.

G2 North | Merlot–Cabernet Franc

Our bold extrovert. At first, it wore its oak like a mask, but over time revealed depth, generosity, and lift. “Marches more than waltzes”—a wine with joyful conviction.

Château Tour Perey | Grand Cru Saint-Émilion

Classic, gregarious, and full of old-world charm. A wine that connects tradition with a bit of boldness—playful, yet grounded.

What made the evening truly special wasn’t just the wines—it was you. The thoughtful questions, the openness, the engagement. You gave the wines the one thing they needed most: time.

If there’s a bottle you’d like to revisit, we’d love to help continue that conversation.

With gratitude,
Neeta & Kunal
