Rising Tempo is inspired by Nritya, the KamaSutra Art of Dance. Featuring LA contemporary dancer, Reshma Gajjar, photographed as she indulges in her dance.
Grenache's bright cherry fruit dances across the palate in this elegantly choreographed blend. Tempranillo provides a deep, plummy bass note with leathery and herbal tones, while the Syrah keeps the wine full, sensuous, and intriguing with its exotic dark berry nose and flavors of coffee and chocolate. The three varietals combine to make a robust yet refined blend with an inviting, provocative aroma and a lingering finish.
Pair with foods featuring earthy, brown spices, like cumin, coriander, fennel or cardamom. The spicy notes of Grenache and Syrah complement the layered spices in the dish. Also, the wine's fruitiness tones down spicy heat, letting the dish's other flavors shine. The wine's earthiness harmonizes beautifully with elements like lentils, chickpeas and potatoes.
