Crimson Jewel is inspired by Maniragakarajnana, the KamaSutra Art of Precious Stones. The label features jewelry designer, Rhiannon Griego, wearing one of her artistic creations.

Winemaker's Notes

A unique blend of Sangiovese and Petit Sirah, the Crimson Jewel offers up a generous, fruit-driven nose and lively yet full-bodied palate. Sangiovese's rustic tendencies are polished by the unabashed lushness of the Petit Sirah to create a multi-faceted wine that shines first in the glass, then in the complex clarity of the nose, and finally shows depth and elegance on the palate.

Serving Suggestion

Crimson Jewel begs for comfort foods and complements a range of flavors including juicy meats, winter vegetables, and dried herbs. The fruit and acid in the wine will cut through the richest of buttery sauces, while its freshness prevents it from overpowering lighter fare. Delicious now, the wine promises to age beautifully for another 3 to 5 years.

Serve at 59°-64° F
